• OVERNIGHT MOUNTAINBIKE TOUR

When you've had enough of day tours by bike it's time to embark on a guided overnight adventure to our wilderness hut & lake-side sauna.

A 24-hour biking experience with mountainbiking / fatbiking, dinner, wood-heated sauna & swimming experience and an overnight stay at our wilderness hut.

We step off the marked biking trails and explore our way to our simple wilderness hut in the middle of the forests, by a small, beautiful lake. Depending on the group, we can choose the easy trails and roads, maybe pick some berries and mushrooms on the way and take it easy – or then we enjoy the speed and varying terrain and make some detours to the most joyful single trails on the way!

An authentic wilderness hut far from everything

Our wilderness hut is located by a lake, in the middle of the forest some 20 km out of Äkäslompolo. After arrival, we start preparing dinner while also heating the sauna. It doesn't sound too bad: relaxing in the sauna, taking a few dips in the refreshing lake and finishing the day with a tasty dinner before getting comfortable in the warm sleeping bags on the bunk beds of the hut. In the morning we eat a good breakfast before another half a day of riding back to Äkäslompolo.

There is neither electricity nor running water at the hut, but a fireplace provides us with warmth and helps to dry our riding clothing. The clothing we need in the evening can be transported separately to the hut, so that we are able to enjoy riding just with a light backpack.
